Customers are able to defer their home loan repayments for 6 months. You can apply for the deferral quickly and easily through Bankwest Online Banking or the Bankwest App. Once logged in you simply need to navigate to ‘Self Service’ and then ‘Loan Support’ to apply for the deferral.

Bankwest have also confirmed that customers who defer their home loan and maintain the payment agreement no arraers will be recirded and there will be no impact to your credit file.

Customers seeking support during this challenging time may be elligable to pause their home loan repyaments for a 2 to 6 month period, regardless of whether or not they’ve paid ahead. Elligibility applies to all Advantedge home loan customers affected by Coronavirus (owner occupiers and investors on either principal and interest or interest-only repayment schedules with either variable or fixed rate loans.  MyLoan’s online form is now live to assist customers with a repayment pause via the above link.
